LUCIA, LUIS Y EL LOBO

In 2007 and 2008 Joaquín Cociña, Cristóbal León and Niles Atallah created the short animation films Lucía and Luis. These two short films made up a two-part animation series called Lucía, Luis & el lobo.
The films have received awards at international film festivals including the Grand Jury Prize at the Disposable Film Festival, USA, 1st Prize for Best International Film at Fantoche International Animation Film Festival in Baden, Switzerland, Grand Prix “Wooden Wolf” Prize at the Animated Dreams, Animation Film Festival in Tallinn, Estonia, Grand Jury Prize for Best Short Film at FIBABC (1st Iberian-American Festival of ABC) in Madrid, Spain, ASIFA Austria Award at Vienna Independent Shorts, among others.
THE THIRD WORLD

Between 2010 and 2011, Cristóbal León and Joaquín Cociña created the series of short-films “The Third World”. The series is made up of “Padre.Madre”, “EL Templo” and “El Arca”. The films were shown together as a film installation at Upstream Gallery. ”El Arca” will be screened at the International Film Festival Rotterdam.
DER KLEINERE RAUM

Der Kleinere Raum is an animation short film created in 2009 by Cristóbal León and Nina Wehrle. The film received the BRONCE PEG BAR award at Animanima Festival in Cacak, and Special Mentions at Animatou Festival in Geneve, Fantoche in Baden, Animateka in Ljubljana and Animated Dreams in Talinn.
